I have a dream.
It mixes my love of transportation with my love of being bullet proof.
After sharing my dream with my friends they encouraged me to look online and I found this beauty.
A 1991 former Brinks Truck.
I called right away and sure the call was a tad awkward. The guy said "What will you be using this armored truck for?" I said "Mostly personal transport". To which he responded "You are just going to drive it around!?".
That's exactly what I am going to do. Drive it around while being awesome.
I know what you are saying. Why even post this? Why am I not the proud owner of this fine armored-mobile yet?
Because it gets better.
It just so happens this armored truck was in the last Batman movie. It says Gotham Police Department on it and it has 6 gun ports.
Yes, SIX gun ports!
Attached are the pictures of my future armored truck/tail gating awesomeness. There are a few hurdles I need to work out before I can call this mine.
Such as:
1) Where can I park this at?
2) How do you insure an armored truck
3) What do you do when you want to sell it? I don't think there is a huge market for used armored trucks with six gun ports.
All small details in the scheme of things. It is going to be harder to not be awesome while knocking over hummers/banks.
Now I just need a few backers and I can bring this puppy home....Who's in?!

Always wanting an armored truck is how I ended up with my current panel truck.

"After sharing my dream with my friends they encouraged me to look online and I found this beauty."
I refuse to be implicated in this.
Well, except for a small contribution to the fund. It's a mother effing BRINKS TRUUUUCK!

Do you think you can get them to throw in a masked-but-soon-to-be-unmasked-and-then-made-Commissioner Gordon? If so I'm in.
If not, I'm still in, long as I get to man a gun port.

Dude. Your going in the wrong direction. This is what you need for the future: http://www.aptera.com/drive.php I want one too, but I suspect Florida is a lot more likely to get them before Ohio.

You can park it in the front of any store, just like how all the other armored trucks do it, just leave it running in the front of the store (or turn it off) free up close parking. I would worry more about being targeted by theives, but you could also look at making it a mobile data center too.

Heh.... sometime I'll tell you about the time I was co-owner of a replica 8 wheeled WW2 german armored car, it even featured a turret with a 20mm cannon and a machinegun. They worked off propane and oxygen, but still shot out foot long flames and were REALLY loud. It was awesome. Once you own one, it's all about pimping it out.

1) Where can I park this? I'd guess anywhere you want. It's armored. No one can steal it.
2) How do you insure an armored truck? It has six gun ports. Isn't that insurance enough?
3) What do you do when you want to sell it? Sell it to me so I can turn it into a rolling, armored restaurant like the Koji Taco truck. Gun ports are more eye-catching than painted flames. :)

My dream is o have the armored truck pull up to the door to take the money to the bank. :)
